1-year-old Oaklee Mae Snow had reportedly been missing since February. The remains discovered in Indiana, 30 miles away from where she was last seen alive, are believed to belong to the missing girl from Oklahoma.
Around January 19, investigators believe that the missing girl’s mother, Madison Marshall, 22, abducted the 1-year-old Oaklee Mae Snow and Coleton, her 7-month-old brother. Reports say the children were previously staying in Cromwell, Oklahoma with their father, Zack Snow. Marshall, along with her boyfriend, Roan Waters, 25, were accused of taking both children to Indianapolis, Indiana, where Waters’ family lives.According to Douglas, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office states that the missing girl was last seen on February 9. Oaklee was seen carried out of a “crack house” in Indianapolis by Marshall and apparently looked motionless. Coleton, on the other hand, was allegedly left on the couch of the house in Indianapolis. Fortunately, someone at the house called the police and the 7-month-old was reunited with his father.

Charges Faced in Death of Missing Girl
According to Acosta, the authorities in Oklahoma have recently released new details regarding the case of the missing girl. The remains found 30 miles away from where she was last seen alive were believed to belong to her. In new court documents, Marshall allegedly claimed that Waters killed Oaklee and hid her remains in a dresser drawer in an abandoned home in Morgantown, Indiana.
Upon investigation, authorities discovered badly decomposed remains of a girl who appeared to have a blonde hair like Oaklee. However, it is yet to be clearly identified if the remains belonged to the missing girl. The Morgan County Coroner states that identification may take two to four weeks.
Initially, Waters was taken into custody with charges unrelated to the missing girl’s disappearance. Marshall, on the other hand, was arrested in connection with the incident. However, due to the details recently discovered, Marshall and Waters, who were both arrested last March, will be facing new charges.
Waters now faces charges of two counts of neglect leading to death, one count of murder, and other offenses. Marshall, on the other hand, now faces charges of two counts of neglect resulting in serious injury and neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
