Social Security and Medicare 2023: 63% of Beneficiaries Satisfied With The Programs

A new Gallup poll reveals that 63% of the beneficiaries are satisfied with the Social Security and Medicare 2023. However, there are still a percentage of the beneficiaries, the younger ones, who are only likely to be satisfied with the programs.

A new Gallup poll conducted in January and released on February 24 states that around 63% of the beneficiaries ages 65 and older are satisfied with the Social Security and Medicare 2023. In comparison, 43% of the beneficiaries are 50 to 64, 42% are 30 to 49, and 35% are 18 to 29. Furthermore, adults who earn little to average income are more likely to be satisfied with the Social Security and Medicare programs than those who earn high.

According to Cariaga, surveys have also discovered that the partisan differences tend to change depending on what party has control over the White House. In general, the supporters of the sitting president are more satisfied with the country’s conditions than those of the opposing party. A recent survey revealed that 52% of the Democrats, 45% of the Independents, and 39% of the Republicans are satisfied with the Social Security and Medicare 2023.

Concerns Other Than Social Security and Medicare 2023

According to Jones, although the Social Security and Medicare 2023 are the focus of the debate between Democrats and Republicans, these issues are not particularly important to most U.S. citizens. Rather, the Gallup poll discovered that the Americans are more concerned over the country’s economic issues.

A survey conducted in January revealed that almost 72% of the Americans are not satisfied with the condition of the U.S. economy. On the other hand, only 25% are satisfied with it. In addition, 83% of the Americans are not satisfied with the country’s efforts to fight poverty and homelessness, while only 15% are satisfied with the response.
