Income Tax Return 2022

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has already started to accept and process Income Tax Return 2022 beginning January 23 and will end on April 18, 2023. However, the IRS advised millions of taxpayers not to file their taxes yet due to some problems the agency needs to solve.

Millions of taxpayers across the country got confused about whether they will include the state stimulus checks or special payments as part of the federal income tax return 2022. To address this problem, the IRS has already released new guidelines on Income Tax Return 2022, according to a published article in MARKET WATCH.

There are around 21 states including California that will be affected under the new guidance of Income Tax Return 2022. The IRS argued that the special payments or the state stimulus checks argued that they won’t challenge the taxability of the special payments.
