A Texas Mechanic man was shot dead two days before Christmas. The man who was fatally shot in the 7600 block of the North Freeway Friday afternoon has been identified as 29-year-old Luis Manuel Casillas. A dispute over a $500 repair bill ended in tragedy when a man shot him in the head (Hatfield, 2022). Witnesses said he ran through several businesses establishments to ask for help before being gunned down.

The sister of the suspect believes that there were approximately six suspects who were younger men involved in the killing of her sibling. But still, Police have not released an official description of the suspects.

After the incident, the family was in total devastation and described that their holidays will never be the same. As many Houston families celebrate the Christmas season, one family has spent it pleading for justice after their one family member was shot and killed.

Luis Casillas, who was a victim, was known as a loving husband, father, and mechanic. He had two daughters, aged 2 and 3. The victim was ready to celebrate the holiday season with joyfulness with his family, but a tragedy happened to him, preventing him from allowing his family to celebrate their holiday happily.

The family will continue to plead and fight for justice for the victim. According to the family, the victim will be laid to rest Thursday at the Funeraria Del Angel.
