On December 16 at 8:27 p.m., Boston Police received a 911 call reporting a domestic incident. This prompted an immediate visit to a residence on Talbot Street in Massachusetts. Three young girls aged 14, 12, and 4 reportedly told officers that Michael Fairweather, 36, attacked them. According to the District Attorney’s Office, the 12-year-old girl reported that Fairweather choked her and the 14-year-old girl had intervened. The 14-year-old reported that Fairweather also choked her and spitted on her repeatedly. Boston Police officers said that they have noticed mild redness, swelling, and a scratch on the 14-year-old’s neck. This incident allegedly happened in front of the 4-year-old victim.

Justice Is Served

According to police, Fairweather had already run away before they arrived. However, he returned to his apartment later in the evening and when the police returned at 11:12 p.m., he was apprehended and taken into custody. Suffolk District Attorney’s Office reported that Fairweather was put on trial last December 19. He was charged with two counts of strangulation and two counts of assault and battery on a child causing injury. Fairweather’s bail was reportedly voided for 90 days for being involved in another assault case involving the same victims. On January 17 next year, Fairweather is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing, as reported by True Crime Daily.
