Texas Man Went Missing While Kayaking

In a recently published article in the U.S. News, the search for a Texas man who went missing while kayaking on the White River continues in north Arkansas. Authorities started looking for the guy after receiving a report around 1 p.m. Saturday that he had gone under in the White River and had not resurfaced, according to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery.

The guy was kayaking with others when he turned over in the river, started struggling, and eventually fell under, according to rescue workers. The White River’s water level was high, and the current was strong. Meanwhile, police have not revealed the identity of the missing 29-year-old man from Beaumont, Texas.

On Saturday, a sheriff’s helicopter and a boat searched for several hours but were unable to find the guy. Furthermore, there are no new developments in the hunt for a missing Texas man who went kayaking in the White River.

On Saturday, many organizations searched the White River for a suspected drowning victim. Rescuers were sent to the scene and started searching. The Bull Shoals Dam’s generators were all on, according to authorities, and the White River’s water level was high and the current was fast. As of 7 p.m. Sunday, the guy had not been found.

Other Incident in the White River

This is not the first time that this happened in the White River. In July 2017, one man who was rescued from the White River when his kayak overturned died. In a published report in WRTV, The guys were dragged underwater, but rescuers were able to swiftly bring one of them out.

The second guy came up from the water as they were crossing the river to get the first man to safety, and they were able to bring him into the boat as well. The surviving kayaker’s health had considerably improved and he was doing well, according to IFD.
