SUNFLOWER COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — A man from Sunflower County has been arrested in connection with receiving a stolen tractor valued at $64,000.
According to the Mississippi Agriculture and Livestock Theft Bureau (MALTB), agents were alerted on October 23, 2024, to a stolen John Deere 3039R tractor that had been taken from a farm in Washington County. The tractor was later traced to Sunflower County, with authorities linking it to Christopher Douglas Showah, of Indianola, around November 22.
On December 17, MALTB investigators executed a search at Showah’s business, M & D Aviation, where they discovered a stolen Polaris 1000 side-by-side vehicle valued at $18,300, which had been taken from Arkansas.
Showah was arrested and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property. The investigation is ongoing.
