Pentagon Responds to Mysterious UAPs Over New Jersey, New Mexico, and European Cities

Recent weeks have seen a surge in mysterious drone sightings, sparking widespread speculation and drawing attention from both the U.S. government and UFO researchers. These sightings, which have occurred over major cities and military installations in the United States and Europe, include incidents that have left many puzzled and searching for answers. Among the most recent reports are those from New Jersey, where a string of drone sightings in mid-November involved up to 180 drones on a single night. These drones, described as larger and louder than typical hobbyist models, have been observed flying over military sites, power lines, and suburban areas, raising alarm.

One of the most baffling sightings occurred in New Mexico, where several unusual phenomena have been reported in recent months. In October 2023, a red light pulsated in the sky above Albuquerque’s South Valley for about an hour. The event was captured on camera by a local man who remarked that the light was unlike anything he had ever seen. In February, a solid orb was observed drifting over Jal, near the state’s southern border. The observer reported a strange static in the air, which added to the eerie nature of the event. New Mexico, a state with a rich history of UFO lore and sightings, has seen over 1,700 reported UFO incidents, most of which have occurred since 2000, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.

The U.S. Department of Defense has weighed in on the matter, attempting to quell fears that the drones may be the work of foreign adversaries. Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh assured the public that no evidence has been found linking these activities to foreign entities. “At no point were our installations threatened when this activity was occurring,” she stated. David Marler, a UFO researcher from Albuquerque, echoed this sentiment, attributing New Mexico’s high volume of UFO sightings to the state’s abundance of military and scientific research areas, including Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories.

Meanwhile, in New Jersey, concerns about the drones have escalated, with Governor Phil Murphy acknowledging their sophistication. Despite their advanced capabilities, including the ability to go dark once observed, he emphasized that there is no known threat to public safety. However, the unexplained nature of these drones has prompted local lawmakers to call for increased transparency. Sen. Cory Booker urged federal agencies to provide more clarity, while Rep. Tony Gonzales from Texas raised pointed questions during a Capitol Hill hearing, questioning why the drones’ origins remain unidentified.

The rising number of mysterious drone sightings comes as the debate surrounding UFOs—now officially referred to as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP)—reaches a new level of attention in the United States. With hearings and investigations underway, U.S. officials continue to monitor the situation, but the answers remain elusive, and speculation continues to swirl about the true nature of these enigmatic flying objects.
