Teen Hospitalized After Head Injury

Rio Rancho Police are currently investigating an incident in which a teenager was shot in the head on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police reports, officers responded to a shooting near the intersection of Inca Road and 2nd Street SE around 4:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim and immediately provided aid before transporting him to the hospital for trauma care. The teen remains in critical condition.
