President Meloni To Meet President Biden, To Cover Various Global Issues

Confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Italy’s President Giorgia Meloni will be meeting President Biden on March 1 at the White House with a goal to emphasize the strong relationship between their nations.

The Two Presidents’ Extensive Agenda

According to a report by The Pavlovic Today, Jean-Pierre gave a rough idea of the issues that President Meloni of Italy and President Biden will be covered in their meeting on March 1 at the White House.

They are supposed to reaffirm their commitment to supporting Ukraine during this challenging time with Russia. The two nation leaders want to prevent escalation in the Middle East and focus on helping the people of Gaza. Their talk will also include developments in Noth Africa and coordination efforts about China.

Preparing For NATO Summit And G7 Group Presidency

President Meloni and President Biden are meeting ahead of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit that is scheduled this July 2024 in Washington. The two presidents plan to coordinate their positions.

Also, according to The Pavlovic Today, they will address Italy’s seventh tenure as president of the G7 group.
