Honesti de La Torre was charged after filling her child’s baby bottle with alcohol in an attempt to stop its crying. Further reports say the drunk baby was hospitalized but its current condition was not revealed.
On August 5, at around 12:45 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were called to respond to an autonomous area of Rialto City, 55 miles east of Los Angeles. Upon arriving at the location, the deputies discovered a 7-week-old drunk baby that was intoxicated with alcohol.According to Casiano, the drunk baby’s mother, Honesti de La Torre, 37, was driving through Rialto when the drunk baby started crying. In an attempt to stop the drunk baby from crying, de La Torre allegedly filled the drunk baby’s bottle with alcohol.

Charges Faced by Drunk Baby’s Mother
According to Kumar Gupta, on August 7, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department announced that the drunk baby’s mother faced charges of child endangerment. To date, the drunk baby’s condition remains undisclosed. Nonetheless, the drunk baby’s mother is being held on a $60,000 bond at the West Valley Detention Center. Further reports say the drunk baby’s mother is scheduled to appear in court today, August 8.
