Murder Suspect Who Ran Away from Hospital in North California Being Searched by Police

Eric Abril is being searched by police officers in North California after running away from a hospital where he was taken. Reports say the murder suspect was arrested after killing a hostage during a shooting incident in April.

In April, Eric Abril, 35, was arrested following a shooting incident in a park in the city of Roseville in North California. The shooting of an officer from the California Highway Patrol and two hostages resulted in the death of one of the captives.

An article in USNews.com states that the murder suspect faced charges of aggravated kidnapping, attempted murder of a peace officer, and murder in connection with the shooting incident in Roseville park. The murder suspect was then booked in a jail in the Placer County with no bail.

Murder Suspect Ran Away from Hospital

According to an article in AP News, on July 6, the murder suspect was transported in an ambulance to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Sacramento. However, authorities did not disclose the reason for the transfer. Unfortunately, in the early morning of July 9, the murder suspect was able to run away from the hospital.

Reports say the murder suspect was seen in a video in the north of Roseville at around 3:39 a.m. after running away from the hospital. To date, authorities are still searching for the murder suspect and residents in the area are required to exercise extreme caution.
