The second batch of 2023 Social Security payments for the month of July will be distributed in a week, on July 12. The Social Security Administration (SSA) decides when an individual will receive their 2023 Social Security payments based on their birthdate or how long they have been a beneficiary.

An article in CNET states that last July 3, the 2023 Social Security payments were received by individuals who were beneficiaries since before May 1997. This coming July 12, the 2023 Social Security payments will be received by beneficiaries born between the 1st and the 10th of a month.

On the other hand, on July 19, the 2023 Social Security payments will be received by beneficiaries born between the 11th and the 20th of a month. Lastly, on July 26, the 2023 Social Security payments will be received by beneficiaries born between the 21st and the 30th of a month.

2023 Social Security Payments Not Distributed This July

According to an article in MARCA, the 2023 Social Security payments for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients are generally distributed on the first day of each month. However, if the first day of the month falls on a weekend or a holiday, the 2023 Social Security payments on nearest business day. For example, since the first day of July is a Saturday, the 2023 Social Security payments for SSI should have been received last June 30.
