Damien Green was sentenced to prison in connection with the death of a classmate in a drug related robbery. Reports say apart from Green, three other teenagers were also involved in the fatal shooting in Pennsylvania in 2020.
In February 2020, Damien Green, along with Owen Southerland, then 16, and Logan Persing, then 15, allegedly plotted to rob Devon Pfirsching of money and marijuana in a drug related robbery. According to authorities, one of the teenagers pulled a gun on Pfirsching and hit him with it. Unfortunately, when the victim fought back, he was shot.An article in the U.S. News & World Report states that the prosecutors agreed to reduce Green’s murder charge from second-degree. This means that on June 23, Green, now 19, pleaded guilty in Blair County Court to third-degree murder. Consequently, he was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.
Nonetheless, Green also pleaded guilty to illegal use of a communication facility, conspiracy to commit robbery, and robbery in connection with the drug related robbery.
