The Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti has announced that the 58 defendants were indicted for violating federal racketeering, narcotics, and firearm laws.

The 58 defendants were charged with violating federal racketeering, drugs, and firearm laws after an investigation of multiple federal, state, and local police agencies, including Oil City and Franklin police, were involved. The evidence collected by the Erie police displays a drug-related conflict that fueled a fatal shootout at a short-term rental house in early 2022. A recent unsealed 58-defendant federal indictment is intended to dismantle the gang, known as 4-Nation, they were also connected to the murder charges. According to the indictment which is unsealed on Thursday in U.S. District Court in Erie Members and associates of 4-Nation triggered the events at the house in the 3900 block of McClelland Avenue on Jan. 27, 2022. The Indictment Also Liked In Attempted Robbery Of Drug Paraphernalia
The indictment alleges the members and associates attempted to commit an armed robbery of the drug Paraphernalia of two high-level members of the gang, or criminal business: Davante Q. Jones, also known as Smoov, and Marius L. Russell, also known as Gifted.
Jones is the lead defendant in the federal case and Russell is recorded as the eighth-highest defendant, according to the indictment.
