California Teen Fatally Stabbed
Authorities in California are searching for answers following the tragic death of 17-year-old California teen, Dylan Dooling, who was fatally stabbed just a day after graduating from high school.
The incident occurred on June 2, shortly after California teen Dooling left a house party in Turlock, PEOPLE reported.
Sergeant Michael Parmley of the Turlock Police Department has been leading the investigation and conducting numerous interviews to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for the crime.
Shedding light on the initial purpose of the gathering, Parmley described it as a celebratory event for recent high school graduates. However, the festive atmosphere was tragically disrupted when the stabbing occurred, leaving Dooling mortally wounded.
According to Parmley, the California teen victim was in the company of a group of individuals, believed to be females, as he left the party.
As they departed, another group, consisting of males, approached them. A physical fight ensued, ultimately leading to California teen Dooling being stabbed at least once.
A local pastor, Morri Elliot, revealed to CBS13 that the California teen had fearlessly defended his girlfriend during the altercation. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, as Parmley stated that he does not possess a definitive answer at this time.
Meanwhile, California teen Dooling was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately surrendered to his injuries approximately one hour later.

Suspects of Stabbing the California Teen
As of now, no suspects have been arrested, leaving both the police and grieving family members of the California teen desperate for any leads in the case.
The suspects, described as white or Hispanic teenagers in their early 20s, quickly fled the area following the incident. Authorities have been provided with a vague description, indicating that the individuals were dressed in dark clothing and drove a dark-colored vehicle.
It is currently unknown whether the suspects had any prior connection to the graduation party.
Friends and family described the California teen as a vibrant young man who cherished his close-knit family and enjoyed spending time with his cousins. His infectious laugh and silly humor could brighten anyone’s day.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the grieving family and honor Dooling’s memory.
The Turlock Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in solving this heinous crime that claimed the life of the California teen.
