A Crestwood car dealer manager was nearly run over by a woman that steals a car from his lot, the event was caught on camera, ABC 7 reported.

A manager of Your Choice Autos Crestwood was nearly run over by a woman. The woman was visiting the shop on Thursday afternoon eyeing a Cadillac sedan.

The whole scene was caught on CCTV camera, the woman was seen on the video entering the shop when all the employees of the shop were out, and then she enters a back room with vehicle keys without noticing someone is in the office.

The woman started to search for the keys to the Cadillac, and when she finds the Cadillac keys, she takes them all. A few moments later, she came back outside and can enter the Cadillac.

The confrontation happens outside when the woman drove the car trying to get away but the Crestwood car dealer stopped the woman.

Crestwood Car Dealer Felt Unreal

The Crestwood car dealer manager felt unreal about what happened. He said, “It was kind of unreal for me. I didn’t feel like this is happening.”

The manager said that in the past few months, many thefts happened within his auto group.

Meanwhile, the stolen Cadillac was recovered on the side of the Borman Expressway. This incident made him think of ways to prevent the incident from happening again.
