A Mississippi shooting incident happened last Friday night during a Cinco de Mayo party at a Mississippi restaurant.

Ocean Springs Police Capt. Ryan LeMaire confirmed in a news release that there are 7 people were shot at The Scratch Kitchen on Government Street last Friday night. The incident leaves 1 dead and 6 people were shot and injured during the Mississippi shooting incident, CBS News reported.
The dead man was identified as Chase Harmon, 19, of Pascagoula. The other surviving victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment but their injuries were not released.
The investigation is still ongoing and no arrest had been made as of Saturday morning. Police urge anyone with information to notify the Ocean Springs Police Department.

There were 200 people at the restaurant at that time when the shooter ran past employees during security checks at the entrance of the restaurant. The owner said the suspect who did the shooting wasn’t a customer and has no permission to enter the restaurant.
The Ocean Springs Police Department calls for help to identify the suspect during the Mississippi shooting last Friday night. The incident leaves 1 dead and 6 people were injured. The investigation is ongoing and police are hoping for faster identification of the suspect.
