Jordan Neely’s Death Has Been Ruled As Homicide, Officials Say!

Jordan Neely, a 30-year-old Michael Jackson impersonator, and a homeless who was choked to death in a subway train in New York last Monday afternoon has been ruled a homicide.

Chief Medical Examiner of New York City confirmed to CBS News that the cause of death by Jordan Neely was compression of the neck or chokehold. The video captured shows the victim being placed in a chokehold by a 24-year-old man who is a Marine.

The man who choked and restrained Jordan Neely because he had been acting erratically on a train station in the SoHo area of Manhattan. Neely was placed in a chokehold for several minutes by a Marine.

New York Police District said that when authorities arrived at the scene, Jordan Neely was unresponsive and was immediately brought to a hospital but he was pronounced dead later on.

The founder of the National Action Network Rev. Al Sharpton demanded the district police investigation of the incident as the incident may be a case of manslaughter or murder.

Jordan Neely’s Life

Jordan Neely loved to impersonate Michael Jackson when he was younger but as years went by, he was in difficult situations where he had been arrested numerous times by the police.

Carolyn Neely, Jordan’s Aunt, revealed that Jordan liked to hang out at train stations. Carolyn added that Jordan became depressed after his mother died. When Jordan’s mother died, it feels like he doesn’t have dreams anymore he needed his mother.

Neely Jordan’s Aunt added that Jordan was abandoned by his father when he was a baby.

The death of Jordan Neely sparked protesters and calls for a deep investigation into the incident.
