On March 31, supporters of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign announced that they have raised more than $4 million. This announcement was a day after the Trump indictment in Manhattan that was made public.

An article on CBS News states that the former U.S. President’s supporters distributed several fundraising solicitations through email after the Trump indictment. In addition, Trump also asked for donations on his Truth Social platform. Reports say more than 25% of the funds that were raised have come from contributors who have donated for the first time. The campaign also reportedly received 16,000 sign-ups for volunteers.

However, during his initial launch for the 2024 elections last November, Trump’s supporters have raised only $9.5 million in six weeks through the campaign and a joint committee. Nonetheless, several other Republicans and even Democrats distributed solicitations to their supporters for fundraising as well.
