Is Your ACTC/EITC Refund Sent Today?

As early as today, February 27, 2024, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will be sending approved EITC/ACTC refund through direct deposit or paper check.

Check Your ACTC/EITC Refund Date

If you have filed for a return in the early stage and your refund was approved on or before January 29, 2024 then your refund may have been sent to you just today. The IRS will be sending EITC/ACTC claims as early as February 27. Check the IRS website for the schedule of sending the refund according to when it was approved.

Note that if you selected the option to receive the refund via direct deposit, on the average, it will take 5 to 7 days to be received in your bank account while it will take 10 to 14 days for your paper check to be delivered to your mailbox.

Check Your Status What To Do If There’s Delay

Through IRS “Where’s My Refund” toll or “IRS2GO” mobile app, you can now check your ACTC/EITC refund status. According to NCBLPC report, just prepare your social security number, tax year, refund amount and filing status. After you’ve filed for a tax refund, it should be available for tracking after 24 hours.

If after 4 weeks you have not received your refund, then you can approach the IRS officials because they are the ones that can provide you with needed information.
