Prince William confirmed on Tuesday that Jacinda Ardern will join the Board of Trustees for the Earthshot Prize. The Earthshot Prize is intended as a charity for our planet, that’s why Prince William stated that this organization needs a big name, and a background in leadership to support the important works.
Jonathan Sacerdoti told Fox News Digital that it is a good thing to hear that Prince William and his wife Catherine recruited a high-profile person including former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for their charity work.
On the other hand, people tend to miscalculate the intentions of the former prime minister. In terms of Prince William versus Prince Harry, people knew that the former prime minister Ardern had a friendly relationship with the Prince and Princess of Sussexes before.

Why Did Jacinda Ardern Distance Herself From Sussexes?
Ardern was a former prime minister of New Zealand. She was elected in 2017 at the age of 37 and becomes the youngest female head of government in the world. On January 2023 Ardern filed a resignation after five years of being prime minister.
She shared that she wants to spend her time with her husband and daughter. On the fourth, the relationship between her and Sussex become close after they toured the South Pacific in 2018. It was then revealed that Ardern, who stepped down as Prime Minister of New Zealand in January, was in Earthshot Prize. After, having a role in the board of trustees there is a conspiracy that Ardern distanced herself from Sussex.
