Police were searching for two missing children when they found a suspicious metal container with one of the child’s remains of it. Days later, police found a suitcase in the trunk with another child’s remains.
Father And His Girlfriend, Arrested For 2 kids’ Murder And Abuse Of Corpse
Shortly after 8:30AM on January 20, while the Pueblo Police Department is investigating the case of missing children, Yesenia Dominguez, and her older brother Jesus Dominguez Jr. They responded to the 600 block of West 6th Street. Reported by True Crime Daily, there they found a suspicious metal container with hardened concrete in a storage unit. They found Yesenia Dominguez remains which would now be 9 years old.
On February 6, detectives reportedly found, Corena Minjarez’s vehicle in a local scrap yard where they found a suitcase in the trunk. Inside the trunk were Jesus Dominguez Jr. ‘s remains which should have been 10 years old now. Minjarez is the children’s father’s girlfriend.
It was February 15 that the investigators confirmed the remains of the 2 children. Around 3:40PM that same day, officers arrested Minjarez and Domingues Sr on changes of 1st-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Both are booked at the Pueblo County Detention Center.

Missing 2 Children Were Not Reported To The Police
According to the police, they were investigating the case of 2 missing children who were reportedly last seen in the summer of 2018 but were only reported missing just recently, January 20. Yesenia was 3 years old when she went missing on Jesus Jr. was 5 years old.
Investigators confirmed that it was the young Yesenia’s body found inside the metal container and it was Jesus Jr. inside the trunk.
