A 51-year-old woman was charged in New Jersey after she stabbed her 5-year-old granddaughter multiple times and injuring her.
51-Year-Old Woman Stabbed Her Granddaughter
A 51-year-old woman identified as Aurora Villacorta in New Jersey was charged after she allegedly stabbed her 5-year-old granddaughter multiple times and injured her. The Passaic County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that the woman was arrested.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, the Paterson Police Department officers responded at Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue after they received a report of a child being stabbed. When the officers arrived, they found the 5-year-old girl wounded.

51-Year-Old Woman Is Facing Charges
According to an article published in PEOPLE, the 51-year-old woman will face the following charges:
- second-degree aggravated assault
- third-degree aggravated assault
- fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon
- third-degree possession of a weapon or an unlawful purpose
- second-degree endangering the welfare of a child
On the other hand, Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh told the news outlet that the child is expected to survive from the wounds she got.
