MURRAY DISTRICT, Station. – A former school administrator in North Georgia has pleaded guilty to having sex with a student and giving alcohol to a minor.
Rachel Louise Terry, former director of federal programs and admissions for Murray County Schools pleaded guilty
A former high school principal in Georgia, 43, admitted this week to raping a 15-year-old student while hosting a party serving alcohol to minors. On Wednesday, she pleaded guilty to statutory rape, child sexual exploitation, tampering with evidence, serving alcohol to a minor, and conspiring to commit a crime against a minor.
Investigators said they launched an investigation after Terry threw a Halloween party for five minors at his Chatsworth home and forced them to drink
The parent of one of the students who attended the party complained about a suspicious turn of events. According to one report, investigators obtained videos and photos from the cellphones of teenage students at a party after their parents agreed for law enforcement to search their phones. Those searches reportedly found digital evidence that Terry had a “sexual relationship” with a 15-year-old Murray.
