Driver kidnapped and killed Irion

Irion was last seen in her automobile in a parking area in remote Fernley, Nevada, before dawn on March 12, 2022, according to authorities. She was allegedly waiting there to join a shuttle to head to work, according to her sister.

Approximately one minute before Irion’s car was observed leaving the parking lot with the man driving, a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt can be seen on surveillance camera approaching Irion’s vehicle at 5:24 in the morning, Detective Erik Kusmerz revealed days later at a press conference. Three days later, the automobile was discovered close to the Walmart.

In an effort to cover up his crime, Driver kidnapped and killed Irion, then buried her body, claims an amended criminal complaint submitted to the Justice Court of Canal Township in Lyon County. According to the document, he was accused of murder, kidnapping in the first degree, robbery, breaking into a car, and destroying evidence, reports Court TV.

Authorities responding to a tip, they claim, found Irion’s body in a rural area of nearby Churchill County.
