According to EYEWITNESS NEWS, the FBI is actively searching for a woman suspected of robbing a Bank of America branch in Gardena, California. The robbery took place on May 31 at the bank on 118 W Rosecrans Avenue. The suspect who was wearing a black face mask and a baseball cap handed a demand note to a teller instructing them to hand over cash.

The woman then escaped in a white sedan with an undisclosed amount of money leaving the authorities to estimate the loss. Surveillance cameras inside the bank captured clear images of the suspect providing crucial evidence for the investigation. The FBI is meticulously analyzing the footage and collaborating with local law enforcement to trace the suspect’s movements and potential whereabouts.

Authorities Investigate Possible Links to Other Robberies

The FBI along with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for assistance in finding the suspect. Anyone with information on the woman’s identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the FBI or the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to aid in the investigation.

Furthermore authorities are investigating possible links to other recent bank robberies in the area to determine if the suspect is involved in a larger criminal pattern. They are also reviewing nearby traffic and security cameras for additional footage of the white sedan to track its route and identify potential accomplices. Enhanced security measures and increased patrols have been implemented around local banks to prevent further incidents.
