Missouri residents can apply for the St. Louis Working Families Bill which provides $500 monthly cash for 18 months thanks to the city opening up its guaranteed income pilot program.
$500 Monthly From The St. Louis Working Families Bill
The city Mayor Tishaura O. Jones made it possible for the residents after he signed the St. Louis Working Families Bill which includes $5 million to support the initiative.
The US Sun reported that the support comes from funding provided under the American Rescue Plan Act. For 18 months eligible residents in St. Louis will be given a total of $500 monthly.

Here’s How To Be Eligible For The St. Louis Working Families Bill
To be eligible for the St. Louis Working Families Bill need to meet all the requirements and most importantly you should be currently living in St. Louis.
Moreover, you should also be a parent or legal guardian of a child or dependent (under the age of 18) who’s enrolled in a public school.
Also, income limits come into play here too, household income for St. Louis residents must be less than 170% of the federal poverty level. his is $33,524 per family of two and $51,000 for four people.
Additionally, you must have experienced a “negative financial impact” caused by the pandemic, according to program officials.
This includes job loss and higher childcare costs.
To put your name down for consideration, applications need to be filled out online by the November 1 deadline at 5:00 p.m.
Remember that you will be needed to submit documentation including photo IDs and proof of school enrollment. Eligible applications will be chosen randomly through a lottery process.
Between November 6 and November 13, participants will obtain an invitation to submit financial documentation and confirmation.
It’s unclear when the first round of the $500 monthly cash will go out but the guaranteed income pilot with support 540 St. Louis families.
