Amarei Hunter was arrested and charged with murder after being suspected of shooting a man to death in Goodyear, Arizona. Reports say the authorities believed that the murder suspect and the victim were acquainted and had an argument before the incident occurred.

On October 11, at around 7 p.m., officers from the Goodyear Police Department in Arizona responded to the area in the 115th and Meade Lane after being summoned by an unknown distress call. Upon arriving at the location, the Goodyear Police reportedly found a male individual named Robert Marshall, 53, with a gunshot wound resulting from a shooting.

According to Vandell, medical attention was immediately provided to Marshall at the scene. However, after later being transported to a hospital, Marshall succumbed to his injuries and unfortunately died.

Murder Suspect Arrested

An article in KTAR.com states that a male individual named Amarei Hunter, 20, was suspected of shooting Marshall to death that night. Therefore, shortly after the shooting incident occurred, the Goodyear Police took Hunter into custody without incident and booked him into jail on second-degree murder charges.

Further reports say that the Goodyear Police believe that Marshall and the murder suspect have known each other and have been involved in an argument that resulted in the shooting incident. To date, authorities state that the case remains under investigation.
