An unnamed man was shot to death by an Iowa deputy officer following a domestic dispute report. Authorities stated that upon arriving at the scene, they discovered the man brandishing a gun at a vehicle.
On the evening of June 20, at around 9:42 p.m., Iowa deputy officers of Franklin County responded to a location in Sheffield after a report about a domestic dispute. On June 21, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation stated that upon arriving at the scene, the deputy officers discovered a man brandishing a gun at a vehicle.However, according to an article in Fox News, after the man refused to drop his weapon, an Iowa deputy officer shot him which immediately led to his death at the crime scene. Reports say there were no deputy officers who have been injured. To date, there are no further details released.
Police Shoots Child Following Domestic Disturbance Report
An article in CNN states that on May 20, Aderrien Murry, 11, was shot by a Mississippi police officer who responded to a domestic disturbance report. Aderrien was critically injured after suffering from a collapsed lung, a lacerated liver, and fractured ribs. Fortunately, on May 24, the child was eventually discharged from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
