The 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger was indicted by a grand jury, in connection to the stabbing of four Idaho college students last year, in November.
Bryan Kohberger Faced Charges
A spokesperson for the State of Idaho Judicial Branch confirmed to CBS News that Bryan Kohberger is facing felony burglary and four counts of first-degree murder in connection to the stabbing of four Idaho college students; Xana Kernodle and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and her friend Kaylee Goncalves.
Six weeks after the deadly stabbing, Bryan Kohberger was arrested at his parent’s home in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania.
According to jail records, Kohberger was extradited to Idaho and is currently held without bond in the Latah County Jail.
Bryan Kohberger has yet to enter his plea to the cases and is waiting whether prosecutors of the case will pursue the death penalty.

Bryan Kohberger’s Indictment
Bryan Kohberger’s indictment enables prosecutors to bypass a week-long preliminary hearing that is set to start on June 26.
Bethany Funke’s attorney had argued to quash a request for her appearance at the preliminary hearing, Funke is one of the surviving roommates of the victims.
A motion was filed in district court in Washoe County, Nevada that instead of appearing for a preliminary hearing in a court in Idaho, Funke meets with Kohberger’s attorneys in Reno, Nevada.
The Idaho court spokesperson said that a district court arraignment hearing for Bryan Kohberger is set for Monday morning.
