Nine counts were charged by all five Proud Boys members, this is in connection with the U.S. capitol attack last January 6, 2021. Enrique Tarrio And Other Members Thirst For Violence, Prosecutors Said

Prosecutors said and argued that Proud Boys were thirsting for violence as they organized to stop in advance the certification of Biden’s win as President, any means including by force. The Justice Department was countered by defense attorneys saying, the group was used as a scapegoat behind the real person to be blamed, who is Donald Trump.

Prosecutors have faced the biggest challenge in convincing a jury that Tarrio was a part of the conspiracy, given that he stayed at a hotel in Baltimore on January 6 even if he was banned from Washington the day before.

Other Proud Boys members have pleaded guilty and went to trial while the seditious conspiracy trial has gone underway.

Overall, Enrique Tarrio and other members of Proud Boys were convicted of seditious conspiracy for their actions last January 6, 2021.
