Police authorities confirmed that a woman in Louisiana is already under their custody after a 6-year-old child was found dead inside a 10-gallon bucket.
6-Year-Old Child Went Missing
A 6-year-old girl, Bella Fontenelle, and the father’s girlfriend, Hannah Landon, went missing on April 26. According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto, the biological father of the 6-year-old child filed a report about his missing daughter and girlfriend.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, police authorities from the Harahan Police Department responded immediately to his house at Donelon Drive Home after he reported about his missing daughter and girlfriend. They immediately began to conduct an investigation when they arrived at the home.
Additionally, his girlfriend also went missing on the same day. At that time, authorities assumed that the 6-year-old child was with the woman but they cannot yet establish any motives for committing a crime.

Missing 6-Year-Old Child Found Dead Inside a 10-Gallon Bucket
Police authorities first went to the child’s biological mother’s house to check if Bella Fontenelle was there. The home is located just one block from Donelan Drive. It was there, that they found the dead body of the 6-year-old child inside the 10-gallon bucket,
However, it was not the biological mother who murdered the child but the father’s girlfriend. During the investigation, authorities obtained a surveillance video camera showing Landon pulling the bucket to the biological mother’s house.
A report from the WBRZ mentioned that police officers were confident that the parents of the 6-year-old child were not involved in the gruesome killing.
Following this, Landon was charged with first-degree murder and will be booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
