Pueblo, CO – Snowfall will ease across Colorado this evening, but winter weather isn’t done yet. A weak low-pressure system will move into the region Thursday, bringing fresh snow to eastern areas and the mountains.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, Wednesday morning will start cold before warming slightly under drier conditions. However, by Thursday, the new weather system is expected to bring measurable snow back to the state. Residents should prepare for slick roads and reduced visibility, especially in higher elevations.

Temperatures will hover in the 20s and 30s through the week, making road treatments less effective. Mountain passes and highways in eastern Colorado could face hazardous driving conditions. Officials urge drivers to use caution and check forecasts before traveling.

Another storm system may approach the area over the weekend, further complicating travel. Locals are encouraged to monitor updates and stock up on essentials to avoid last-minute disruptions.
