Green Bay, WI – Light lake effect snow is set to hit eastern Wisconsin tonight, creating slippery roads and travel challenges through Monday morning. Commuters along the Lake Michigan shoreline can expect 0.5 to 2 inches of snowfall, with locally higher amounts possible in areas where snow bands develop.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Green Bay, snow-covered and icy roads are likely to affect travel on major routes, including I-43 and nearby highways. The snowfall is expected to begin tonight after midnight and continue into Monday morning, impacting early work commutes. Reduced visibility within snow bands could pose additional hazards for drivers.
