Tulsa, OK – A powerful cold front is set to sweep across Oklahoma on Sunday, bringing gusty winds, snow, and plummeting temperatures. Wind gusts as high as 50 mph are forecasted, making driving hazardous, especially along I-44 and other major routes.

According to the National Weather Service, the front will arrive Sunday afternoon, with light snow expected across eastern Oklahoma and into northwest Arkansas. Sunday night, temperatures are expected to drop sharply, with wind chills plunging into the single digits. This bitter cold will persist through Monday morning, creating a dangerous situation for anyone exposed to the elements. Residents should dress in layers and limit time outdoors.

Looking ahead, Monday will see a high of just 28°F, with brisk northwest winds keeping conditions blustery. Lows Monday night will dip to 14°F before conditions stabilize midweek, offering slightly warmer highs in the 30s by Wednesday under sunny skies.
