Minneapolis, MN – Minnesota residents are gearing up for a weekend of bone-chilling temperatures and a potential snowstorm. Overnight lows are forecast to drop to -10°F to -25°F, with wind chills plunging even further.

According to the National Weather Service Twin Cities, clear skies will persist Friday night, but clouds will move in Saturday. A storm system tracking toward the region is expected to bring snow by the weekend. Highs will remain frigid, ranging from 0°F to 15°F through Tuesday.

Residents are advised to prepare for dangerous wind chills and icy conditions. Bundle up if heading outdoors, and ensure vehicles are stocked with emergency supplies.

The storm could disrupt travel, especially on Saturday evening. Officials recommend checking road conditions and staying updated on weather alerts. Despite the harsh conditions, sunny skies are expected to return Sunday and Monday, offering some relief.

Minnesota authorities encourage everyone to prioritize safety and check on vulnerable neighbors during this extreme weather.
