Wyoming Winter Storm to Bring Up to 10 Inches of Snow Through 7 a.m. Friday

Cheyenne, WY – A winter storm warning continues for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Ranges, with up to 10 inches of additional snow expected before 7 a.m. MST Friday.

The National Weather Service warns of hazardous conditions, including heavy snow and wind gusts reaching 50 mph. Outdoor activities, such as hiking and snowmobiling, may become perilous due to low visibility and blowing snow. Travel throughout the region is also expected to be treacherous, particularly during commutes.

Residents are advised to prepare emergency kits and monitor updated road conditions by calling 511.
