Vermont Winter Storm Warning in Effect Until Friday Morning

Burlington, VT – A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Orleans and Lamoille counties, with heavy snowfall and high winds expected to persist until 7 a.m. Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulations of 7 to 17 inches are anticipated, with an additional 4 to 10 inches expected before the storm subsides. Winds may gust up to 50 mph, posing risks of power outages due to falling branches and snow-laden tree limbs. Hazardous travel conditions could disrupt the Thursday evening commute.
