Unpredictable Weather Patterns Begin with Rainy Monday

Rain and Cold Fronts Expected in Valley This Week

A low-pressure system moving into the area will bring steady rain to the valley through midday on Monday. While isolated sprinkles or showers may linger into Monday afternoon, the rest of the day is expected to remain dry and mostly cloudy, with temperatures hovering around 50 degrees.

Tuesday will maintain mild conditions, though another round of showers is anticipated. The morning is expected to stay dry, but rain is likely to develop after lunchtime and could continue into the evening as a cold front shifts eastward.

Following the passage of the front, much colder air will settle into the region. High temperatures on Wednesday will only reach the mid-30s, with rain transitioning into wet snowflakes by the afternoon. Snow showers are expected to taper off by Wednesday evening, though the cold will persist.

Thursday and Friday will be especially chilly, with high temperatures only reaching the mid-20s. Wind chill values could drop into the single digits at times under a mix of sun and clouds. However, temperatures are expected to gradually warm back toward average as the weekend progresses, with the possibility of additional showers.
