Los Angeles – Three people, including an 8-year-old girl, were found dead in their Baldwin Park home on Thursday evening, following a disturbance reported by a 911 caller. Officers from the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to the residence on the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Rona Nate, 44, Paul Manangan, 16, and Mia Narvaez, 8.
As authorities approached the scene, they observed a person attempting to flee the home in a vehicle. The car crashed into a cul-de-sac, and the individual was arrested as a person of interest in connection with the deaths. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department later confirmed the arrest of a 23-year-old Asian man on suspicion of murder. Authorities revealed that the suspect was related to the victims and resided at the house, but the exact nature of their relationship has not been disclosed.

Lieutenant Michael Modica from the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau emphasized that the attack was not random, and investigators are working to understand the connections between the suspect and the victims. While authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the victims or the motive, the investigation is ongoing.
