Northridge -Residents in Northridge are expressing outrage and concern after several cars were vandalized early on Christmas morning.
Photos from the scene show vehicles defaced with gang-related graffiti, including “MS-13” spray-painted on one car. Additionally, the vandals shattered windows, leaving many residents shocked and frustrated.
“It really ruined Christmas morning,” said one resident who wished to remain anonymous. “It was such a dark start to the day.”
The victim estimated that at least six cars were damaged in the incident. The cars were parked near Corbin Avenue and Prairie Street and were likely targeted between 2:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on December 25.

Residents faced additional challenges as they tried to address the damage on Christmas Day, with most businesses closed for the holiday.
“We called around to see if we could get repairs or even an estimate, but nothing was open,” said another affected resident.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they received calls from residents about the vandalism. However, since the incidents occurred overnight, the LAPD directed residents to file their reports online.
As of December 26, no arrests have been made in connection with the vandalism. Neighbors remain on edge, hoping for swift action from authorities to address the issue.
