Homeless Loni Willison rummaging through trash for a tree

On Wednesday, January 1, Loni Willison, a homeless former model, was seen in Beverly Hills, California, pushing a shopping cart filled with her belongings, which included a discarded Christmas tree.

She took her cart and left after spending some time looking through a large garbage bin. The 41-year-old was dressed in a light purple floral-printed dress with a black shirt underneath. She completed her outfit with a pair of stylish leopard-print boots and a black cap.

Loni Willison has experienced periods of homelessness since 2016.

As previously reported by OK!, the ex-supermodel, who was formerly married to Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson, has been living on the streets in the L.A. area since 2016 due to ongoing mental health and addiction problems.

Willison’s friends apparently made attempts to persuade her to return to rehab during the initial years. However, in a 2018 interview, she asserted her lack of interest in doing so. Loni Willison has allegedly battled with severe addiction problems.

“I don’t feel the need to reach out to my friends; I’m managing just fine,” she expressed confidently. “I prefer to handle things independently and have everything I require within my reach.”

Cindy Kovacs, who was previously connected to Willison’s former spouse, expressed deep sadness about the fact that Willison never received the necessary support.

“He [Jackson] didn’t do anything,” Kovacs vehemently asserted. “It held no value for him. He showed absolute indifference. It was absolutely appalling and sickening.” Loni Willison was married to Jeremy Jackson for two years, from 2012 to 2014.

In an October 2024 interview, Jackson shared a different perspective on their 2-year marriage and shed light on her mental health struggles.

According to him, she exhibited signs of being “delusional” and accused him falsely of abuse prior to their relationship coming to an end.

“The loss of her felt like the passing of someone dear, and my attempts to revive our connection were in vain,” the actor expressed. “The woman I deeply cherished has transformed, and her current state of mind is unrecognizable from the person I once knew.”

According to him, she would experience auditory hallucinations and visual illusions. Furthermore, she would make baseless accusations against him. He further explained that she would frequently have severe emotional breakdowns and suffer from panic attacks. After returning from work, she would often be in tears, expressing fear that she might harm someone at the doctor’s office.

In recent years, Willison has been frequently spotted in the Los Angeles area. In a heart-wrenching incident last July, she was seen wandering the streets of Los Angeles, smoking a cigarette. She was wearing a simple ensemble consisting of a gray t-shirt, leggings, and white socks, but remarkably, she was not wearing any shoes.

Months later, there were reports of her being spotted inhaling paint from a paper bag.
