Woman Arrested for Aggravated DWI After Crashing Truck Into Tree in New York
A woman in Naples, New York, was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly driving while intoxicated and crashing her truck into a tree. According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a property damage accident around 1:22 a.m.
Officials stated that the 38-year-old suspect was driving south when she mistakenly turned into a private driveway, believing it to be a road. The truck subsequently collided with a tree near the driveway.
During their investigation, deputies determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, issued traffic tickets, and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Authorities emphasized the dangers of impaired driving and urged motorists to exercise caution.
