Terry Moore, a 65-year-old resident of Wichita, has been identified as the woman who tragically lost her life in a rollover accident at the intersection of 56th Street and Plum Street roundabout.

This information was confirmed by Steve Lutz, Patrol Captain for the Reno County Sheriff’s office.

According to Lutz, the roundabout at the intersection of 56th Street and Plum Street is believed to have been the site of the first fatal accident since its installation.

According to Lutz, there is currently no additional information regarding the accident.

A driver, whose identity remains unknown as of 1 p.m., lost their life in a rollover accident at the intersection of 56th and Plum Street on an early Thursday morning.

At 3:13 a.m., the Reno County Sheriff’s office received a call and promptly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle flipped onto its side in the northeast ditch.

According to a statement on the Sheriff’s website, it appears that the driver was ejected from the vehicle during the accident. Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the driver was unfortunately declared dead on the scene.
