Houston woman argues self-defense in fatal apartment shooting

In a Houston-area apartment, a woman is asserting that she acted in self-defense following the fatal shooting of a man.

The Houston Police Department units were called to an apartment complex situated at 6600 Hirsch Rd. at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Sunday evening.

Upon their arrival, they discovered an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound. Tragically, the Houston Fire Department officials declared him deceased at the location.

HPD officials stated that detectives will interview the woman as part of the ongoing investigation.
