Two Killed, One Wounded in Early Morning Natchez Shooting

Two people were killed and a third person is recovering in the hospital following a shooting early Wednesday morning in Natchez.

The incident occurred around midnight near the intersection of Lewis Drive and Hope Lane, just a short distance from Susie B. West Elementary School, according to Police Chief Cal Green.

The victims who died have been identified as 39-year-old Kietra McDonald and 43-year-old Londell Williams. Police have not yet named any suspects or determined a motive for the shooting.
