Albertsons and Safeway have voluntarily recalled several produce and deli items due to potential salmonella contamination linked to cucumbers. The affected cucumbers were supplied by PennRose Farms, which sourced them from SunFed Produce.
The recall impacts Albertsons stores in Arizona, New Mexico, southern Nevada, Texas, and Utah, as well as Safeway stores in Arizona. The specific items involved in the recall include:

The recall affects veggie platters with sell-through dates from November 28 to December 8.
In addition to the initial recall of cucumbers from SunFed Produce, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded the recall to include cucumbers from Baloian Farms of Arizona Co., Inc. These cucumbers were sold in several states and parts of Canada.
