A fire broke out overnight at a storage facility on Central Avenue and 58th Street, causing significant damage to multiple units. Firefighters from Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) arrived at the scene and discovered three storage units actively burning at the All Safe Storage facility. Using a saw, AFR crews had to cut through the units to gain access and control the blaze.
The fire ultimately led to a total loss of contents in 10 storage units that were accessed by firefighters. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation as officials work to determine what sparked the incident.
