Man Critically Injured in Six-Vehicle Crash in Northeast Albuquerque

A man is in critical condition following a six-vehicle collision on Wednesday in northeast Albuquerque at the intersection of San Pedro and Comanche. According to police, the crash occurred when the driver of a Honda Civic, traveling southbound at high speed, sideswiped another car. The impact caused the Civic to strike an additional vehicle, launching it briefly into the air before it ultimately collided with other cars in the intersection.

The driver of the Honda Civic sustained critical injuries and was transported to the hospital. Another individual was also hospitalized but is expected to recover.
